Discussion

There are different kinds of ESL related discussion groups.  The type of discussion group that we offer is called “Talking Around the Table (TAT)” discussion group.  This TAT group usually consists of 2-5 discussion participants and a discussion leader. They select various topics to discuss at each session and bring in articles or stories from magazines, newspapers, or books to support the discussion.

The focus is on increasing speaking fluency and reading comprehension.  Participants need to have simple conversation and basic reading skills to be involved with group discussions. They may meet weekly or every other week.  Below is a listing of TAT discussion groups.  Please contact the organizer of each discussion group site if interested.  We will be adding to the listing in the future.
